Spent the day under the Ford Ranger.
Had a Check Engine Light that gave a lean code.
I replaced the upstream O-sensors.
The right sensor was a bastard to get out.
Had to remove a tube from the trans, buy an angled 7/8 wrench, and use my arms in the strangest angles.
Also replaced a year old gas filter, and gave the Air Filter Air sensor a rinse in Rubbing Alcohol.
When it was all said and done I beat the light.
MAN OVER MACHINE!

No ice cream trucks for Don. That would be a violation of his parole due to the relative attraction of ice cream trucks to children:) of course, now that I think about it:blink: for the same reason he can't work at KFC . He likes chicken too:laugh: of course then again....He is an Outlaw.

Did you ever wonder why an check engine light usually winds up being the sensor as the culprit rather then any thing wrong with the system it was monitoring ? What's up with that ?

I to feel pretty good after running down a check eng light.. code 26 & 32 .. turned out to be the EGR valve solenoid. $45.00 Saturn had it in stock.. NAPA said they didn't have any in country. Figure I save over 200. in charges from the Saturn dealer! MAN OVER WIFE'S MACHINE!
