Breva 11 - Norge 12 & 1200 Sport Registry and picture thread

Nero, Joe Kenny (on E-bay) makes those for the Breva, Like Rene' said the silver spoiler on the right side has to come off, and some fileing is required to keep from rubbing the fairing. Have you looked at the Stucchi crashbars? I like the protection they offer and a place to put some fold up pegs.

Joe had one set out there and I bought them. Thanks for the lead.

Here are the Joe Kenny B11 head guards installed. You will have to replace the stock M6x25 dome head bolts with standard M6x25 stainless bolts. The diameter on the stock dome head bolts is too wide for the head guard recess.

Dimitris:

I sent Joe an email through his website and he sent me a link to a set on ebay. I checked them out and bought them right away. I am not sure if he has another pair. If he doesn't have a pair on hand, I suspect he could make a set for you. By the way, the head guards come in three pieces. In the pic, you can see where the 3 pieces are joined together by the 2 center allen bolts. I am very happy with the machining on the parts. They fit together nicely.

NeroGuzzi thanks!
I guess these head guards will fit other models, such as 1100 sport or V11 LeMans, wont they?

I believe they would fit even though the guards were specifically notched for the spark plug wire insert on the B11 valve cover.

Re:1200 Sport Pic Thread

My baby.

I've been the proud owner for almost a year, my first Guzzi, although my brother was a big fan in his younger years and had several versions of this illustrious marque. I also have several mates who swear by them.

I went for the faster red version. :P

Great bike.

I got my new Breva V1100 actually on the road before the end of march. In Saskatoon, that's not bad! Okay, so we have long winters. But on the other hand we also have long summers (at least by Canadian standards which may not be saying much). Spring will last about 3 weeks. It was +3C today, below "seasonal norms" according to Environment Canada but what does the weatherman know? Beauty and I just had to go for a spin. Now Beauty is back in the garage alongside Beast (my KaTooM). I love my guzzi already.

it's been a while I posted a picture. Here's my currently amputated Norge (on the left in case someone wonders :P).

About 5500km on the Roadsmart at the rear, and it seems to be squaring off already — that'd be a disillusion, I think the Z6 did at least as good!

Not that I do any significant amount of distance on cobblestones...

Heh, that was until '68 or thereabouts — after that, authorities decided to remove that ubiquitous source of ammunition for the masses. With a few exceptions, we now have tarmac everywhere, including on the side-walks (yuck).

Just a test to see if I re-sized the picture correctly before I post my farkle write-up. Anyway, just me and the Norge:

Here's a pic of my bike taken while out for a blast in the New Forest last week.
Its not apparent from the photo but now that the bike is three and a half years old the finish is starting to show signs of its age.
I'm considering taking her off the road for a few weeks next winter and having her repainted, all the plastics, wheels, forks, CARC, footrest hangers, head covers, the lot really. I've just got to figure out what colours will work with the bike, (I'll get shut of that brown finish on the CARC, head covers etc). I'll get the plastics done by a specialist, probably the footrest hanger too and do the rest myself.
