Well, the '07 is in my garage and, holy cow do I need to clean my garage! Also, I think I'm going to try a couple rounds of Solution Finish on the bike's plastics as it seems to be the latest and greatest black trim restorer. My experience with classic bikes tells me to either just apply peanut oil periodically or spray paint the faded parts gloss black, though I don't know if what works on old Hondas works on modern plastics.

My first mod is likely to be a new shock followed by the Matrix fork upgrade kit.

Congrats! I copied your photo and words to this Registry thread. Love to get the VIN# and related for the first post here.
Enjoy and post often. If you're in SoCal, happy to be of help at my shop in Orange.

If you want the best finish possible on all black plastic trim, wiring coverings, frames, etc. there is nothing I have ever found or used as good as Pro Chemicals Pro Shine.

Best is to spray on, let evaporate, spray some more, let sit overnight, and light buff with cloth towel in the morning.

Your bike will look brand new for quite some time.

Sorry I missed your post Nick, now added... thanks much, and hope to see you here often.

G'day all,
sorry about the late reply, it's been a tad hectic around here lately. Here's a pic of my bike with a mates Harley taken down at Narooma.
Take it easy,
