Just got it firing!
Hello,
I've just bought a 2005 Breva 750 IE and the only problem so far is that it's pouring oil out of the overflow hose. The original one cracked so I found a puddle under the bike the first morning. Changed both of the hoses for a new ones to make sure it won't happen again, but there's still oil in the tube after every ride.
I went through the topics here and too much oil seems to be the most common reason for this. I don't have too much oil in there.
BUT, looking at the parts diagram, there's supposed to be a PCV valve in the hose connecting airbox to the oil sump, but my bike doesn't have one. Is it supposed to be there on all years or was it a part added later on and it's correct that my bike doesn't have it? I guess this could possibly cause this? The engine pulling oil through the hose into the intake due to the PCV valve not being there?
