Tuned and Synch'ed
My fault really, went on holidays, left the Breva in the shed for a month , he's called Brevan after a friend of mine, his favourite saying was " I'll never say no to a ride !" But bikes can sulk you know. I never told him about the BMW GS i spent the next 3 weeks with. ( bike tour of South Africa - thats another story) It was an unexpected pleasure. Somehow I think Brevan knew I'd been unfaithful and had it in for me.
I came home just hanging to see some more Ausssie hills scenery, but Brevan had different ideas, when I fired life into his lusty engine, pulled into the street and we hadnt got past the first roundabout near my house when Brevan decided to break the brake. Well the rear brake pedal kind of fell off its perch , as the alli casting that it pivots on just broke off the main bit. so its hanging there but aint doing much to prevent forward motion. Who woulda thought ?
Unfortunately for Brevan it wasnt just a 2015 Bmwobble you he should watch out for.
After his decision to fail to proceed ( or is that fail to stop? ) , I threw my leg over ol faithfull , and after a practised tickle and caress then a swift kick in the guts , my 43 year old Norton came to life and took missus and me on a pleasurable Sunday afternoon ride. No more dramas.
