Replacing, upgrading front springs with a set of Wilbers springs. Thier matching oil. Reading thru they are cartridges. Really short springs in box. New to me. Swap out on the bench. Anyone done this before ?

Unless you have adjustable forks, and I cannot recall the Cal Vin having them, then you have an aftermarket kit in place. I can’t comment on your brand. We sell products we know fit and work well on the STORE tab at the top of every page.
You’ll have to dig in. Let us know what you find.
