• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone in this horrific disaster.

Checked out manual to perform this change. It talks about changing code first then proceeding through menu options. I dont understand the procedure I guess because using my two keys doesn't seem to do anything. It seems to indicate that this should come up on the dash, but I get zilch. What am I doing wrong? If I get this down I should also be able to change temps from C to F.

Ok, time to hit the books again.

You need to go into DIAGNOSTICS entering the two codes.

The first one will be USER CODE which if it has not been set then is 5 zero's.

Next will be the Service Code which for the Stelvio NTX is 10695 then you will be able to access and change display from miles to kilometers.

Ok, I reread page on diagnostics and setup. What I don't understand and what it doesn't tell me is how to enter the codes to get to setup. Is it using another diagnostic tool or is it all contained in the dash? What switch or knob toggles you through the menu? Does it assume the user aready knows how to do this? Attached is the page I have referenced from the manual.

I appolgize for for my ignorance, but these electronics and efi settings are all new to me. I come from a past world of older twin engine carburated Ducatis and BMW's. I have a lot to learn.

Read the section on handle bar controls. The controller is on the left cluster. It takes presses and side movements to get to where you want to go. Not as simple as the 2006 Breva system.

It’s not ignorance. It’s the unwillingness to read the manual completely.

Start at page 29 of the Owners Manual and please Read. Keep reading for several pages. Every single thing you want to know and do is written right there.

I cannot explain it any shorter than the manual.

You absolutely must read. Sorry.

Oh shoot, I thought I posted. Yes! Was able to access per instructions. It's nice to see speed without doing mental calculations while riding.

You did. Scott forgot the Julius Caesar quote; I came, I saw, I conquered. I'm so old I took two years of Latin in high school. I figured I couldn't hurt a dead language.

Nope. I knew what it meant.

Unfortunately, I’m just to dense to extract out that he meant he got it.

Thanks for the help! 😆
