It's 10pm and -10F outside my door as I write this, and that's not counting for the wind! This is shaping up to be a true bitch of a winter here in the mid west. Not sure how much longer I can hold on...

I'd give your left nut for 30 miles on a Guzzi about now!

My boss is visiting Wisconsin and yesterday it got up to -13C

He thinks it's damn cold too - especially coming from an Australian summer!
 
Oddly enough we are having a long run of warm weather right now in Alberta. +10C today. There are even bikes out and about which is unheard of here in January. A few more days of this and the ice on my street should be melted enough for me to put a few miles on.
 
Even here in the southern US it is cold. 7 degrees F -14C in Northern Alabama this morning. And the forecast for next week is colder still. Enough already.
 
I just flew back to L.A. from Connecticut, and it was good to get home. It gets REALLY cold for us thin-blooded types who aren't used to it anymore.
