Friends,
Many of us have had dash issues throughout several models. I have found a solid solution in addition to using clear gel RCV Silicone on screw ports and housing CPU assembly gaps. I only had 1 actual CPU failure and no start once during a rain that no one should ride in regardless of bike or skill set. Been reliable setup so far for me operationally. However, I would upon occasion, get a fog up inside glass on the tach side that would drive me bonkers. Upon placing two Silica Gel packets, (like they send with new shoes) inside housing with wiring and connections no more fogging or moisture inside housing. Note* I did not cut drain holes as many have done. Just let packets do there thing.
Hope it helps with moderate CPU water intrusion remedies...
