I rode along for one day with a fantastic bunch of women from pashnit - was on the only guzzi. Had a GREAT ride. Visalia was the starting point, we took a country road (Yokohl Valley Rd) to Hwy 190, took that to the Western Divide Hwy. Split up into 2 groups there, with one group going over Sherman Pass, including me. Once we hit 395, DJ (on an Atomic Red Speed Triple - never saw that color before - stock) and I headed back to Visalia via hwys 178 and 155, Old Stage Rd and home.
A few pix:

Sarah, a dynamite rider from Sacramento, taking the RC out for a little spin - she was on a tricked-out SV 1000, and so was able to immediately appreciate the Red Racer:

Great shots Jam! Thanks again for posting... makes all of us want to get out and ride for sure.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Hey Brian -
Short answer: POORLY!!! Haha!!! Once, I bragged to a friend that I was riding as well one-handed as two-handed, when taking pix, and his retort was "No, you ride as crappy two-handed as you do one-handed!!!" Touche to that......
I keep the camera on a lanyard around my neck, and keep it tucked into my half-zipped left jacket pocket, so it doens't bang on the gas tank. To take a shot, i just take it out of my pocket with my left hand, and start taking shots with my left hand. i've gotten more adept at turning it on, and hitting the lever for "zoom" when desired, all with the fingers on my left hand, with practice. Also, timing shots, and not subconsciously pushing the camera down when squeezing off a shot (kinda like firing a gun....) Note there are not a lot pix taken in the tight twisties..... I think I happened on a dynamite little camera also - a Canon Powershot SD 600 - for the price.....

Cheers!!!

Brill, great piccys, That Sherman pass must have had some big fire go through it, going by the trees.
Take Care Out There
