Just got it firing!
Hi,
Only have about 5K5 kms on the bike & recently did a valve check & TBS.
Today I serviced the relay arm, swing arm & drive splines.
The Italians have followed Yamaha & Hinckley factory policies and decided not to use grease.
One universal was seized on the middle gear, a bit of bugger to get off.
The needle rollers were all dry, was some damage on the bearing collars.
Learnt a quick lesson, that the needle rollers are not held within the cage, 52 pick up sticks, lol lol.
The tapered rollers were totally dry and "tinkering".
Can say that the bike is better than new, about 4 hours on my first attempt.
