So I'm not sure how long my bikes kill switch has been INOP, I rarely ever used it. Most of the time I kill the bike by propping up the kickstand but either way I finally made my way to the dealership. After replacing a switch (that didn't do anything) they said the PC5 and autotune I have installed was the issue. They said they unplugged the PC5 and the kill switch worked perfectly. I haven't picked up the bike yet to tinker with it, but has anyone ran into this issue? maybe a fix for it?

Not a known issue that I'm aware of. It's easy for dealers to blame non-OEM things though. I'll test the next one I have in the shop. The PC-V gets power from the injectors only, and a ground. Can't fathom how this would cause the kill switch to not work.

Thank you for the insight, Ill probably go in a bit early while they're buttoning up my bike tomorrow and have them show me what they're talking about. Ill post an update tomorrow.

Update to this, removing the ground cable from the power commander does allow the kill switch to work. Pretty weird, but I'm going to double-check all my connections and if that doesn't work, well I rarely use the kill switch anyways haha. I prefer the extra boost in ponies over the switch any day.

How odd. I'll check the next one I have in the shop too. Like you and Didier above, I never use the kill switch, key only. In fact I grunt everytime I get on a bike and hit the starter button and nothing.
