Eldorado Alternator Removal

It's almost hard to imagine how much work is involved with the simple (?) removal of a charging system .
And the real irony here is that the alternator is made in china !

Yep it's a big job for sure - If you've not seem it already, some German guy has produced a load of videos documenting the maintenance of his 1400. This one (3 of 3 for the same job) shows the "meat" of the alternator belt replacement

I'm getting it covered under warranty , lowish output , thought I'd have some fun doing it myself !
Watched the videos suggested above ( kinda painfully slow ). To add insult to injury , I'm pretty
sure the low output voltage is because of the voltage regulator mounted on the back of the alternator
which ( after gas tank removal ) is just 3 screws off the back of the alternator :) . Oh Well . Peter
