Faces with the names…

Sure, it's a Norton 850 Commando engine.

I've owned and restored several Norton and Triumph motorcycles over the years. I seem to be drawn to old British vehicles.

Dammit I was too slow, I was going to say Norton , we’ve had two in the family.
The first was 750 in what looked like a hard tail bycycle frame with a set of springer forks, that I got and put on my Bycycle !!
( the forks and wheel must have weighted 50 lbs )
Took that engine transmission found a Royal Enfield frame, had a welder cut the front Down tube and mounted the engine and off it went.
The second was an 850…

I keep forgetting to have someone take a suitable photo of me so I finally used the face camera on my iPhone while stopped during a ride this evening. The high today was 99 F (100 predicted for tomorrow), but it cools when the sun goes down. IMG 5856

I have a 1973 MGB to put back together after I retire.

I hate to say this, but why do ALL you guys look so much younger than I do?? The bald jokes are bad enough. Now you're gonna start ribbing me about how I get off my walker and onto my 1400 Touring bike. :(
For future reference, I want to know how you carry the walker on the bike!

The #1 reason I keep riding the Cal2 sidecar rig, I'll take my knee's instead of fake ones. To get on a bike as not to swing a leg you need a rolling stairs. Everyone looks around my age. Different, ya know.
