Anyone here have the Mivv Ghibli slip-ons on a V7iii Racer?
The website only shows them on a Stone. I emailed Mivv, asking if these would fit a on Racer. The response was that they have not made an attempt to test fit, and can not assure compatibility.

They should fit V7iii racer.
Both other model and Racer have same part number on mufflers.
I think what make racer model has different pipes are header and muffler bracket.
 
Todd's GP Megs has been one of the best mods ever installed on the bike. It might be a bit loud for some people, personal preference aside, but I really like it. Traffic notices me and it puts a smile each time I open full throttle on the freeway.

And when I had the centerstand installed last week, even the mechanic told me that the steel to make the bracket (exhaust hanger) is very thick and was a chore to drill through (He had to drill through to align the centerstand bracket to the exhaust bracket, but that's another story).
 
Hello, I was hoping to change my V7 III milano exhaust to Zard Zuma version, euro 4 compliant option given that this is the only legal choice over at my country.

Does anyone have experience with this exhaust? i.e. sound improvements. Is it worth the money to change? Thank you in advance for your inputs.

Bro, just swap it out before your annual inspection every year with the LTA. I don't think mata gonna notice unless really unlucky kena roadblock.
 
View attachment 18702 Having toasted my ears with a lifetime of being a mechanic, playing Rock n Roll, and riding motorcycles, I was looking for a quieter exhaust option. I was hoping to fit some MAC Wispertone mufflers that would tuck in tighter and give it that 70's look that I like. Fortunately I talked to Mark Etheridge before I started cutting anything, he pointed out that the side stand location would be problematic for a straight line exhaust, Mark has prevented me from making or bailed me out of bonehead moves before, I truly appreciate that. I know that the GT Meg's have superior build quality but from what I can tell, are a little too boisterous for me. Having just 700 clams left in my pile for mufflers, I went with a set of Mistral mufflers from MG Cycle, I liked the fact that they use the stock hardware and shields and seem to be reasonably quiet with the db killers in. I haven't started it up yet, trying to hold out until I can reflash the ecu.
Agree - the Mistral a have a great sound especially with db killer removed. Keep the original great look of the bike too.
Seems to run fine with the stock tune, but then I'm not after sports bike performance!

My bike ran OK with the stock tune but the difference is pretty dramatic, it feels like a finely tuned machine now, which it is, thanks to Guzzi Tech!
