Maybe this is a stupid question but I can't seem to find a definite answer.
I'm thinking of buying a 2003 breva which is for sale locally. Does the 2003 model have fuel injection or carburetor?
I've googled the spec and get varying answers. Did a search here but could find nothing.
Any breva owners out there able to help?
Would I be better waiting for a more recent model? Is there much difference in the fueling?
I want to get this right. It may well be the last bike I buy. Getting old and stiff - 66 last birthday :(
I'm starting to find my 1100 Breva a bit heavy, so a change to a 750 seems the obvious way to go. Can't afford one of the new small blocks, and anyway, I always liked the look of the baby Breva.
Help please.
Tom.

All the Brevas are fuel injection.

Kerry, as Will said, they are fuel injected. You'd have to get an early Nevada if you wanted a carb 750.

Guzzi has kept them fairly much the same, year to year, until the latest engine mods for the 2012-2013 model. Those updates are nice, but you could get a used bike for 1/2 the money of new.

Your choice.

I have an '03 model. Definitely all fuel injected. Not sure which year, but at some point 5th gear was made slightly taller for Euro IV reasons. Other than that there is little difference between the 03 and the current ones apart from some production fixes.

Thanks for that guys. I just wanted to be sure.
Taking the bike for a test ride at the weekend, so, fingers crossed. I could be the owner of a baby Breva this time next week!
I'll let you know how I get on.
