G5 charging update

Thanks for your help on the old site.Which was about my old/new G5 not charging.
I went through my entire charging circuit and cleaned up all the contacts and earths. Started it up and still no charge.So as a process of elimination I nipped out the back and removed the rotor and stator off the V50 which I had checked was charging first.Put it on the G5 out the front; 13.8V.Excellent.Out the back again and put the G5 rotor etc in the V50; 13.8V.
I didn't swap them back.
Maybe I should have, but the V50 is gone.
