Gas Mileage

I have a question.. And I do not really understand why.. But..
I have a new Audace..
Yesterday I went 260 km..and fule level was zero meaning no bars left on tje tracker.
I run 45km on 'reserve'.
So I filled her up and I think it was as full as I could give it. The bars was all lit. I think it has 6 bars.
But I put in 14.5 liters.
According to specs.. The tank is 20 liters and 5 liters reserve...
25 liters.. So i had like 10 liters more.. And still no fule bars on the screen...

Im really puzzled..
 
I have the tourer model and I believe the fuel capacity is actually 20.5L in total. On my bike, the fuel light comes on when I hit the last bar and begins tracking how far you have traveled on 'reserve'. I like this feature. Very handy.

So, in your scenario you still had roughly 5L in the tank when you filled up not 10.

Last weekend I ran 63Km on 'reserve' and I think I probably had another 10Km left. I prefer to not to have to worry about running out of gas so it is nice to know how far you can go once that reserve light comes on.

Alright.. Thanks.
But it is the same for me.. Last bar and the low fuel light goes on.
Still no bar left would then mean 5liters more in the tank.. Which is then 1/4 of total.. Sounds a bit odd.

I think I would bring an extra bucket of fuel and just go until it ends..
Then I know how far and how much the tank takes.

Total capacity is 20.5 ltrs, when fuel light comes on you have around 5 ltrs left.
