Griso rear shock C spanner size?

Far as I know, its a universal size. I just asked for a C spanner from my bike shop and got one.

Thanks for that! I'm aware I can get a universal double ended spanner which normally has the two most common sizes on. But that's not what I want their a pain in the arris to use and take up to much room in my tool roll. Anyone know the actual size of the spanner needed so I can order the correct one?

Gday.I made my own. The outside dimeter of the spanner is100 mm.The inside diameter is 76mm. The tabs that engage with the cutouts on the nuts have a radius of 34mm and are 8 mm wide. Hopefully that is pretty clear,if not I could email you a copy of my drawing.

I got a 68-75 Hook Wrench for my G12. Did the job fine.

When I adjusted mine, I raised the rear tire off the ground.
Made it much easier to turn with pressure off of the spring. I was able to use my kung-fu grip to adjust it.

If you are having trouble locating the correct C Spanner (Hook Wrench) mentioned earlier in this thread to do the job.
I recently purchased the correct BETA Tools item from the local distributor UNIPAC Equipment (Aust).
The tool is part no. 000990068 Hook Wrench 68 - 75 - cost $32.64.
UNIPAC can be located at Unit 23 / 28 Barcoo St. Roseville in Sydney - phone 1300 14 15 16.
and yes it works perfectly.
