Griso slip-on muffers

Hi GriGio,

Thanks for the tips on removing the dB killer.

I have tried to remove the dB killer and gave up, it is not easy. I am living in an apartment so I have to be considerate by keeping the exhaust note to a socially acceptable level otherwise my neighbours will burn my Griso when I am sleeping at night

I just noticed your ZARD muffler is slightly different from mine. Mine has a stainless steel band around the circumference of the muffler body and end cap joint. Did you remove yours :?:

My Zard was born without that stainless steel band, but it's one of the first model (2007).
I think that if they added that band there's a good reason :D
I hope I won't loose my end-cap one day

Sound is great, but the characteristic that I prefer is the lightness :)
Here mine:

Hey GriGio,
Does your Zard have a catalytic converter in it, or is it the "race" version?
Greyo

GriGio,

Love the tri color painted muffler screen. Bravo!!!! My dealer painted mine red prior to me taking delivery and I love it.

Mark

@Greyo. It's the legal version with the cat...and unfortunately is not removable :(
But I can say that is not huge like the orignal or the Termignoni ones :)

@Mark. Red is the historic Lafranconi color for Guzzi's end-cap...you can think about a painting like this:

Ps.: now you know where the "little wings" on the original end-caps were born ;)
