GTM Monster Builds

Now I like that setup! Not a cafe racer. Hmm…Maybe I need a custom GTM build if I can not be stuck with a cafe racer that I hate.

Wonder if he uses Avgas?
I’ll have to ask him. I hope he isn’t without telling me, but he’s made many changes blindly. We did build a map for E85 (the AEM ECU has tremendously fantastic capabilities), which made significantly more power (190+ rwhp), but it spun up so fast we broke a valve spring retaining cap on over-rev in the process, so we turned it back down for pump gas and left it at 168 rwhp. ;)

I used low lead Avgas mixed 50/50 with 93 unleaded to create 100 octane with some lead in it. Worked great in LM3 to get by the Japanese bikes in the straightaways when street racing.

My apologies, I looked around and I dont see anything super recent. The most clear thing I remember there were 7 frames left and dont expect more. I assume this refers to the GTM 01.XX frames only, so what is the status of the GTM 02.XX frames? Are there any new frames under consideration or just the GTM 02.XX into the future?

Is either GTM frame compatible with the traditional Jackal seating position? My guess is they are not. Help me understand the valve covers - why do some of them look like they are from a 1400?

Again, my apologies if this is too much or out of place.

I combined your post with this one. It’s all right here, but I’ll summarize since no one likes to read anything these days. The GTM-01 build was a hybrid/merged Tonti frame with a CARC driveline and Griso 8V engine built to 1380cc, and was one of one only.
For some history on the 02 series, start with post #50 HERE. The GTM-02.x series trellis frames are my full design @29 lbs using 4130 chromoly tubing. I have six frames left right now, but ironically an inquiry just this morning.
I’ll recap for you, the 02 frames are designed for either a ‘06+ CARC 1100/1200-2V or 1200-4V (8V) models only. The 1200-8V can visually wear the 1400 valve covers, and be built up to 1380cc. Lightweight GTM’s at 1151cc are blissfully fast, and the NA-1380cc (8V) is mind-bending, and the SC engines are ludicrous.
Not sure what you mean by Jackal seating position(?). My design is low cg, a modern Tonti if you will. Seat height is very low. Similar to the early 850 Le Mans. If serious from there, write us direct; Sales @GTMotoCycles.com - you can click on the BUILDS tab at the top of the page and read more there too.
*IF* I get my hands on a salvaged V100, I may consider a GTM-03.x series, which would be an all new frame of course.
