Chicago Mark
Cruisin' Guzzisti
My "For Offroad Use Only" big Griso windscreen came in today.
THANK YOU CURTIS HARPER!!!
To say I'm impressed with the screen would be a huge understatement. The quality of the stainless brackets is very nice. All the stainless nuts, bolts, washers, spacers etc are present and accounted for. The instructions for installation are what I'm used to from Piaggio/Moto Guzzi. You can nearly forget the text and just look at the pictures and figure it out. I assembled the screen in the house and will install it on the bike in a few days or so. For now, I'm content to just look at it. It's that good looking.
I may not know how good it works for a while though as my Griso 8v is on the Guzzi Paddock Stand for the winter. Not that we have any snow here in Chicago. But the roads are still covered in the white stuff...salt. I never take the bikes out until it's rained a few times to wash away the salt residue.
Thanks again to Harper's Moto Guzzi for making this screen available in the US when Piaggio hasn't.
