Hello everyone, I am Don. I have a V100 on order and look forward to sharing and learning with everyone on the site. I have several bikes, BMW's and Triumph's. I have been riding for over 40 years. Ride safe!

Hi Don, thanks for posting, and welcome to the GT Forum, and in advance to the Guzzi Famiglia. What hooked you on the new V100?

You’ll find the Guzzi community similar to the BMW crowd, but way more laid back. I’ve owned several BMWs as well, and just one modern Triumph. What models have you owned?

It was the looks mainly, and the fact that I have always lusted after a Guzzi from a far. I have had BMW RT's and GS's as well as Thruxton's. I currently have a '20 Thruxton RS and a '16 BMW GSA. Love the BMW...may let the Triumph go if I like the Guzzi as much as I think I will. Back in the day I had a few Victory's and Honda's.

I have not been this excited about a bike in a long time. Mine is coming from AF1 in Austin.

Thanks. Always fun to hear what the lure and hook is. I owned an air-head, brick and first year GS oil head. Never looked back after escaping. I owned a 2016 Thruxton R for my rental business. Pretty bike, but a boring yawner for me.
My time with Vic, start here and scroll down;

The guys at AF1 are good people. You’re fortunate.
Enjoy and hope to see you here often. Saluti.

Thanks Todd! Very fortunate to have AF1 so close. I met one of the owners John when I put my money down and have dealt with Sean several times in the past test riding bikes. I actually went into the dealership when they where in downtown New Braunfels years ago. Looking forward to the Guzzi journey. Your site here looks like a great find as well! Take care!
