Hi,
I started riding my "15 v7racer II
It's a georgoues bike but the mirrors and the grips are too bad designed. looks very poor quality and the bike deserves better.

I think about going with rizoma.
I want to mod a pair of rizoma class retro bar end mirrors :
is

and rizoma urlo grips :

I will have to buy also handlebar caps. but on rizoma official page I can't find an answer that which model of caps will be suitable with these mirrors.
Do you have any idea ?
and what is the measurement of handlebar on v7racer II ?

do you suggest rizoma or should i go with the oem bar end mirrors ? In mycountry moto guzzi products are not muchly imported so ıt's kind a difficult to find them. the dealer can bring them but it will take a wihle.
what do you suggest ?
Thanks.

Oddly enough, the Rizoma mirrors are cheaper than the OEM equivalents. Here are the mirrors you're looking at (but black) on my 2012 Racer:

I have them on my new Special, too.

I used the Rizoma RMA506B end caps. the nice thing about the Rizoma stuff is that the caps will bolt right up using the OEM bolt.

The handlebars/clip-ons are 22mm.

Really? 22mm, not 7/8". Interesting! That's the same size used by BMW on the classic K's and airheads.

I used the Aprilia mirrors on mine. work good if you aren't set on the bar end mirrors. also while at the Triumph dealers I noticed the street triple and most others came with a pair I think would work better yet.

I'm setting up with Rizoma soon if I can be of help in getting *real* Rizoma products, send me an email direct; Todd at GuzziTech.com
The bar ends linked above are designed for CRG Mirrors, which I can also get but don't stock.

22mm IS 7/8 inch. Close enough anyway.
That 0.2mm difference doesn't matter for many accessories like mirrors and RAM mounts, but it matters a lot when trying to fit BMW controls to 7/8" bars, or Jap controls to BMW bars. All sorts of fitment problems crop up. Just thought it was interesting that the two marques shared that in common.

Dude is in Turkey, he may want a more local source if that's even possible.

Hello All,

I am Freddy Cerrato and the NEW, General Manager of Rizoma USA. Todd has in depth knowledge of our products and will be setup as a dealer very soon. In short to answer the original question the bar end caps needed for V7II needed to work with the Urlo grips and the Class Retro mirrors are part numbers MA534 & MA533. They are universal bar ends in black for the naked bike segment and will work with your Moto Guzzi.

Thank you so much. these informations are very usefull to me.
now i can buy the products without worrying.
it s imortant because these products are not in stocks and the local dealer will order them from Italy. of course i made the payment.
so there will be no return.
thank again. very appreciated.

Hi again,
I'm about the buy the products.
But i wonder, when i mount the bar end mirrors and cancel the stock mirrors what will the oem mirror holes? they willl look awful..
what must i do to prevent that bad look ?
emty mirror holes on the handle bar !!!
i don't want to mount phone holder or gps on the emty holes. i want the bike look like original with bar end mirrors.

You can buy the brackets without the mirror hole to clean it up. I believe I flipped mine and put a black plug in the mirror holes.

The brackets without the provisions for mirror are made by Brembo and are pretty inexpensive. Maybe you can find some locally.

I think the part number is BR110.4372.27.

I've flipped them over in the past, too.

i can get the right answers to my quesitons from thounds miles away.
glad to buy a Guzzi :)

I bought these rather than flipping...the color is slightly different but prefer the cleaner look.

Hi Freddy, so, in the meantime, where can we buy Rizoma mirrors?

I picked up a pair of these:

I purchased them from Af1 Racing. I didn't realize that I could buy what the other lads have purchased. Either way, you cannot go wrong for $6.00. It will keep dirt and grime out. With regards to the brackets without the provisions for mirror are made by Brembo, where exactly did you buy them from pokeyjoe and bob? I cannot seem to find them using the number provided. Cheers.
