• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone in this horrific disaster.

High Mileage Mandello's

Mine was purchased new in September 23. It had 7400 miles in mid April and NOW has 25,000 and a few hundred. Love the engine and the bike was a good purchase. I suspect the coolant Pressure cap isn't working quite as it should. Had some coolant smell in heavy stop and go traffic on a hot day and lost some coolant that day. Watch your overflow at least weekly. Still this should be fixable. Going to look for a replacement cap and let you all know what works. (Probably cheaper than testing the cap.)

I have just over 25,000 miles on my 2023 V100S. Love the bike, the handling, comfort, brakes - the whole package. Also have a 2007 Griso.
I've added the touring windscreen, centerstand, bags and have a heated seat when I need it. Problems: The exhaust pipe has broken twice immediately behind the Catalytic Converter at almost exactly 12,000 miles each time. Has been replaced under warranty (the second one to be replaced this week). Also had an oil seal leak in the shaft drive which got oil on my rear brake and tire. The dealer (Erico - Denver) replaced the rear tire when Piaggio wouldn't. Piaggio took care of the seal and brake pads, as well as the exhaust both times. I would certainly like to see more Guzzi dealers around the country (and in Mexico), and Piaggio supporting them a bit quicker and better.

Anyway, I have owned a couple of other Guzzi's and obviously I'm smitten, however I think think the Mandello has brought Guzzi comfortably into the 21st century. Looking forward to the next 25,000 miles!!

Other bikes:
Guzzi Griso 1100 (2007)
Africa Twin (2016)
BMW R1100S (2000)
Honda Trail 125 (2021)

Bought my V100 in White in September 2023 and last Monday went over 26,000 miles on it. It's been to Key West and Tacoma and Glacier National Park. It will be going to Morrison Saturday morning for 8 AM BMW breakfast. I still have the BMW, but it doesn't get much use and I will sell it next spring. I really can't see a reason to keep it. I can do all the touring I want on the Mandello. I did add the heated grips, center stand, OEM panniers, Givi tanklock bag, tall aftermarket windscreen and Matris rear shock. Pretty happy and with handlebar covers, I should be good down to 20 degrees (F). I think that's all the colder I'm riding this winter. In Denver, I'm able to ride most weeks through the winter when the streets are clear.
