How to change the air filter on Breva?

First off let me say i am not the most mechanically inclined guy..but i successfully changed the oil, and oil filter with no problem on my Breva 750. But for the life of me i cannot find where the air filter goes or how to check the other fluids. I did buy what is supposed to be a Breva maintenance book off the internet but i still can't find the pictures and/or instructions. I have gone through this manual a number of times and unless i am totally missing the schematics ..... Would appreciate it if anyone can post either a photo or direct me to an online link...thanks!
 
The B750 is the same as the V7C... between the V, facing forward is the cover/lid. A short stubby screw-driver is required to remove the cover, and the filter will slide out. Check the parts diagram below for a visual.

Year before last, we went through a dust storm, on the way to Kanab in Utah, where we usually rest up for a bit, wash the riding gear etc, anyway, I decided that it would be prudent to change the air filter, so I went shopping.
For a small town, Kanab has a good selection of auto shops and a hardware store, OK I had the filter mailed in from GT motors in Lansing Michigan.
Anyway....
I bought one of those flexible socket joints, with a 4 mm allen key fixed to it, I think in English it was 32 / 94ths or something like that, anyway it was just about bang on 4mm.
Also I bought a long screwdriver, so I could work through the frame, rather than in it.
Decent Hacksaw blade, and one of those small tins of black model paint, and a small kiddie paint brush.

Remove the front grille. then using the socket joint w the 4mm, on an extension, undo the 3 screws from the lower plastic trim and remove it.( I removed the one on the right side )

Now you can either fight around in the available space, or do as I did. Right in the way of removing the filter, on the frame, there is a lug, with a square hole in it. nothing is attached to it, it serves no other purpose, than to get in the way. using one of those clamp handles, and the hacksaw blade,I carefully sawed the darn thing off, then painted over the raw steel ,several times, using the black model paint.
With the trim in place you cannot see it .
( I have since been told, the lugs are to hold a turbocharger, should you choose to upgrade the flux capacitor !! :woohoo: )

With the lug out of the way, its dead easy to change the filter, ok its a bit fiddley replacing the 3 screws when you attach the side trim, but nothing like the time and fiddling it takes to remove then replace the tank.
Oh yes from memory, I also had to cut 2 cable ties to be able to remove the front, from the filter housing. but I allways carry a bunch of those in the saddlebags anyway.
Having done the shopping, It took about 2 1/2 hrs, OK next time it will be faster, as I wont be sawing the lug off or repainting the frame. paint dries awful fast in Utah in July!
