On my way home from work yesterday, a car came left of center and bumped his mirror into my left bar-end weight. I managed to keep the bike upright, but I didn't make it through two days without scuffing the bike.

The damage is purely cosmetic and should be easy to fix. Another inch or two here and I'd be looking at major repairs for a brand new bike. With a less nimble bike, I'd need major repairs for me as well.

Yeow! Sounds like it could have been MUCH worse! Glad you escaped personal injury👍. Close call! Stay safe - great roads in your area (I ride in northern/central KY a lot)😁.
