• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone in this horrific disaster.

Hello,my name is miles and I have a 2012 griso se that the dash cluster has faded out.my question is can I just replace it with a new one with no problems or is there some kind of code ....etc to enter into the new one.

SEARCH is your best friend and should always be used before starting a new topic.

This is well covered.

You cannot just swap a dash. Here is why.

Beware used dashes on the internet

I'm guessing the code is the original 5 0s.the bike starts and runs fine but can I put a new dash in from the dealer and maybe follow instructions to insert code or something. I found a new dash for 700 dollars. New

You can replace the dash with a new one, yes.

Although I am not 100% certain, I believe you will need an authorized dealer with a PADS system to program your ignition keys to it initially.

If new, it will prompt you to Enter User Code at the bottom of the screen at every key on until you do. Nothing else needed.
As Scott stated, and noted at the top of every page, search and read before starting a new thread. This will all be deleted.
