Ireland Tour

We have come upon flocks of sheep littering the road in the last region we were in , and have seen those crossings but only in the dry so far !
We’ve been following the Wild Atlantic Way, for bits of our travel , it’s a coastal highway that follows Ireland’s Atlantic shoreline north to south, some of which would be considered nearly a single laneway back home !
Who ever is closest to a slight widening of the road normally has the curtesy to pull up, and wait for the other to pass…
There is no shoulder to pull off onto, only hedge lined roadway often concealing a stone wall, so there’s no pulling off the roads just anywhere !

They become not so great when farmers (aka kulchies) leave a trail of mud or cow poop across the road from going field to field... I didn't have a bike when I lived in Ireland but when driving, kept thinking that someone on a bike might have an "oh shit" moment LOL
Out the other day for a 530km ride and I came across many a tractor - the weather being dry so they're out all hours cutting silage and the like. Had to stop at one point to let about 100 cows cross the road going to the milking.
