There is ZERO tolerance on personal attacks and ANY HYPERLINKS to PRODUCT(S) or other competing website(s), including personal pages, social media or other Forums. This ALSO INCLUDES ECU DIAGnostic software, questions and mapping. We work very hard to offer commercially supported products and to keep info relevant here. First offense is a note, second is a warning, third time will get you banned from the site. We don't have the time to chase repeat (and ignorant) offenders. This is NOT a social media platform; It's an ad-free, privately funded website, in small help with user donations. Be sure to see the GTM STORE link above; ALL product purchases help support the site, or you can upgrade your Forum profile or DONATE via the link above.
Steelhorse Classics in Williamsburg, VA is up for sale, owners want to liquidate everything by the end of the year. Sorry to see them go, they were one of the good ones.
I talked with Carol, one of the owners, and they are retiring by EOY 2011 and closing the entire shop. They had a really good reputation and were good folks to work with, so it is disappointing. They have some leftover Guzzi parts and accessories if anyone is interested.
If anyone knows of another good Guzzi dealer for the Washington, DC area, let me know.
It is indeed sad. They were one of the "good guys."
They have two MV Agustas at fire-sale prices, they have some Guzzi/Vespa/MVP Agusta clothing for sale at at least 25% off, and they'll be eBay-ing remaining stuff after the first if the year. Drop by now if you can to glean stuff.
As an update, there are two new Guzzi dealers in Virginia. Redline Motorsports in Yorktown and Frontline Motorsports in Christiansburg. My dealings with Frontline have been positive so far. Haven't tried Redline yet.
