Any tips on repairing a seeping fuel level sensor ? The packing around the wires is allowing a small amount of gas to seep through . Have tried several fixes but nothing worked so far and havent found a replacement available either.

Hello. Did you ever resolve this issue? I am having the same problem with my 2003 California. Any information would be helpful.

It seems to be out of stock everywhere. My suggestion is to remove it clean with denatured alcohol and dry it thoroughly. Rough the bottom surface so the repair will adhere. Then seal with a two part epoxy. Push as much around the wires as possible.

Thank you. Sorry to bother you, but is there any reason that one could not just plug it and not worry about a low fuel warning?

If you could find a threaded cap for it you could. However, I don't know where to get threaded caps in metric thread in the US.

In the past I have just done away with it, there is an acorn nut fitted to the front of the tank on the Cali 1100 carbon this fit straight onto the fuel sensor thread to blank it, I think it is 16x1mm pitch, the I have fitted two standard taps with a reserve function. Just remember don't run the taps in the reserve position as you will run out of juice.

You are terrific. Thank you.

Long shot, but since the thread is M16 x 1, Google 30103000 and/or 29103050 - both might work with a plug swap, and are very affordable. Might be worth the time to try. Please post again if you do.
OEM part # 03103000.

I just checked part number 03103000 at Harper's and it said pre-order. You would have to call to see if they can actually get it. The 29103050 shows available, and if you don't want to change the electrical connector, it will just stop the leak.
