LED Flashers still fast after fitting resistors...

(2014 Griso) Have just fitted four Oberon LED indicators and two Oberon resistors in parallel to the rear indicators as per their instructions but they are still flashing as fast as they did without the resistors. I have fitted loads of LED indicators and resistors over the years but this is the first time it hasn’t worked.

I have read that some Guzzis and Ducatis with the electronic dash have the front and rear indicators on separate circuits (not combined as in most bikes). I guess this means that I need to fit another pair of resistors to the front indicators but before I go to all that hassle, has anyone had this same problem before and did the additional pair of resistors sort it out?
 
Yep, I have. I only fitted front LED indicators to my Griso 1200SE, and decided that it would be easier to fit the resistors across the rear indicators as there was a convenient location for them right under the seat. WRONG! I then discovered that each indicator has a separate circuit as you allude, something I'd not bothered to check.

So I had to relocate the resistors to the front of the bike, finding a place to hide them which wasn't easy because I had eliminated the headlight shell. I also did some calculations, and decided that the 10 ohm 10 watt resistors were overkill, and some 15 ohm 5 watt ones were a better match for the incandescent bulbs I was removing.

You of course will need four resistors, one for each indicator, but my rear ones are currently still incandescent.

I recommend the 15 ohm 5 watt variety.
