I want to install a led headlight bulb in stock Griso bucket but am concerned about heat since the stock bucket has no ventilation. I bought a set of LED's that don't use a ballast and have a fan from a local guy for my Stelvio and am very happy with the results but the back is completely open so heat isn't an issue. Am I over thinking this or is this a possible issue with melting wires or bucket?

All of the moto-specifically designed ones are plug and play. The ones I offer are below -- and I've been running them in my RideMalibu.com rental bikes for ~4 years, with no issues.

I really just want to change it for being seen better during the day. I rarely ride at night anymore since retiring because i don't have too. The pattern while important isn't a priority. Just wanted to make sure the heat created by the built in fan on the led doesn't create problems in a closed headlight bucket. Ive had the same brand in my Stelvio for about a year, they work great and rode at night on a Death valley trip in November and was pleased at the amount of light they produced. Stelvio is wide open in back so heats not an issue.

Let me ask a very basic question that might be useful to newcomers like myself, despite the old post.
Does an aftermarket H4 LED bulb fit in the original housing, with the added bulk of heatsink and fan?
Some models have the male connector directly on the bulb, while others have it after some length of wire for added flexibility. will both work?

AFAIK there isn't much space in Griso shell & I heard the (pictured) H4 LED that doesn't even have a heatsinf etc & which I fitted in my V50 won't fit in the Griso. For griso I fitted a full LED headlamp in OEM shell but needed a different outer ring from a different headlamp & some 'adjustment'.
