Just got it firing!
Hi,
I have just joined the site and having searched for my particular problem with starting. There are many posts on the startus interuptous and a bit confusing, for me anyway. I understand the the theory of the thin wires. My 2006 bike has just started the issue. The stater solenoid goes clunk and the dash display goes blank.
Check all the connections ( all OK), connected jump wires to my car, still does it. Run a wire from battery positive to small connector on stater solenoid and bike starts. My question is, is the feed to the starter relay replaced with 2.5mm wire and a fuse from battery positive or the wire from the stater relay to the stater solenoid replaced with 2.5mm wire? Or are both replaced?
My concern is if the feed to the starter relay would not be switched.
