New Stelvio but which colour?

May I add that I adore my black Stelvio? Looks like something out of Batman's garage. Sounds even better B)
When I did the test ride for two days they gave me a white one. Personally I am really glad I went for black...

Everyone's forgotten to mention it, but there's also a sort of green version — still a bit unobtainium of course ;)

Yeah! the green looking one is the TT version which is not yet available. You can wait a while b4 that comes out. I saw photos of the silver one your talking about. Really nice. I was actually thinking about spraying mine in the future a silver color.

Hey Gigio, see you had to put RED tape on your rims.

There's not much to a spray job on the Stelvio, tank and fork covers, job done.
Oh and of course, matching rim tape.........but you cant do that on a black one eh?

He Gary,
I actually put the stripes to be more visable @ night being that it's black and with all my gear being black i am nearly imposible to see. The stripes really light up at night. I did not like it at first but I have grow to like it. It gives it a sportier look.

Indeed, the TT. I think it's supposed to be available in Europe ...

My 1200S is black and it's a pain to keep clean. If I had bought a Stelvio it would have been white.

I had a black pickup so I now how bad it will be.

I will just have to keep it clean for short spaces of time only!!

How hard can it be to keep clean guys. There is only one piece of the Bike which is painted black, the gas tank. It's not a car or truck for that matter. I have owned two black cars back to back for 14 years. I know what a pain in the ass it is. And I am the maticulous type. All you need is a quick wipe down with this Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish. A Ex Sherriff Moto Officer gave me a can and he swore by it. He said the whole force used them on their bikes. No need to wash with water. Just apply and wipe down with a terry cloth. I tried it and it's good. Here is s link to to the spray polish.

Hi Gang

Now lets get serious:
if it's british, it's racing green
If it's the Ol' Bill, it's white
If it's Italian, it has to be RED

Also Red is the fastest colour:laugh:

Loftyjohn

Red= more expensive to insure and harder to sell...at least in Ontario anyway. Everybody likes a black motorcycle! Yup it showed the dirt , so I cleaned it and bought a cover for $150.00 bikes still clean 3 weeks later.

You're kidding about the more expensive insurance, I hope??!
