Norge GT 8V. What is correct headlight bulb size??

I do have questions though.
what happens when it's 100f outside and your in stop/go traffic or even stopped. would the headlight do the same anomaly?

Stop and go on a hot day is far from different than sitting idling for an extended time. I've never seen this until now, but when we have Norges running in the shop, walking around the front of them you can feel the heat from the headlights immediately as you walk by.
 
isn't it possible that the headlight being in the sun and reflecting back thru the cover caused the polycarbonate to be unstable? and bike run 10 min caused these heat blisters?
 
All that I can deduce is that heat caused that damage.
