A few months ago, I bought an O2 Optimizer for my 07 Breva 1100. I bought the bike new this year. I had no complaints with how it ran. It is my 1st fuel injected bike.
Last night, I finally ran out of excuses as to why I shouldn't install the Optimizer. It only took me about 20 minutes. I did not have to remove the starter. Once I removed the starter cover, I had no problems getting my huge hands in to the connectors.
I did remove the left side body panel so that I could better see where to put the box. I finally stock the box to the air filer housing with some Velcro.
I took my Guzzi out this afternoon to run some errands around town. At low revs, the engine seemed to run much better/smoother. I shifted into 6th gear at less than 30 mph and grabbed a handful of throttle. The engine was at 1800 RPMs or so and it smoothly accelerated up to 65mph or so when I let off.
If you have a newer Guzzi, this is a great part to add. It works as advertised. It is easy to install. And it is reasonably priced.
Now I guess I need to start saving for a Y pipe.
