Ugh.

happened to me.

Chin fairing is cutting my oil cooler line:

I've reported it to the dealer for a warrantied part replacement.

I need to do a trip, though--but I'm concerned about, well, y'know, stuff. Right now there's no oil leaking from it. Thought I'd wrap it in tape as a temp fix.

Thoughts?

Slightly different position to the breva rub: https://www.guzzitech.com/index.php?op ... 9192#10152

I cut away the offending piece of the spoiler and inspected the pipe. The braiding was frayed slightly so I removed/folded back any loose ends and taped it up. It looks like yours is only rubbing very slightly so whack a load of tape round it and it should be fine for your trip.

My 2C - don't panic, enjoy the ride. The braid is mostly cosmetic, and a bit of physical protection against damage to the inner. The innner is the bit that holds the stuff in against teh "very" low pressure and if it is OK then you are good to go.
