NOTICE: Starting March 24, we've shifted to a mandatory user Account upgrade (donation) to post here. Once you've created an account, see the SITE SUPPORT section at the bottom on how to upgrade. This is to help try and cover site costs, and reduce redundant and argumentative posts. Search and read before staring a new thread, most topics are well covered here. We still require ONE post in the Intro section (bottom of the main Forum section list) to introduce yourself: NO QUESTIONS THERE - THEY WILL BE DELETED. Small $ donations via our link above will not be considered. Also to NOTE, the owner here lost his home in the LA Wildfire storm in January; See the USA section for more details. Your compassion, consideration and understanding on use of this site is expected. It's NOT a free social media platform - decades of time and money went into this site. We have a zero tolerance policy on attacks and anything NOT related to Guzzi motorbikes.
Nice little day to go for a ride through the Canadian Rockies. I am so fortunate that I have such stunning scenery so close to me. I never take it for granted!
Your pics have convinced me that I need to visit your neck of the woods. I've got it good here in Oregon, and been to BC several times, but wow, Alberta looks mighty tasty.

It is truly a beautiful place. But honestly - every state and province of our two countries is filled with beauty. The trick is just getting out of the house, getting on the bike, and riding off to the horizon. We are so fortunate to be able to do so!
My hometown is famous for this giant trestle train bridge that traverses a valley. And off to the left, horizontal to the hillside, is the university. As it is the September long weekend, you can imagine the hustle and bustle of 10,000 students inundating our quaint little city on the prairie!
Another day, another 700 kilometres through the open countryside. This time I headed north through oil and dinosaur country.
This is the Royal Tyrell Museum, one of the world's foremost dinosaur museums. I live in a place rich in dinosaur finds and fossils. It should be on your bucket list - the museum is huge, and it can take a full 7 hours to get through it.
September is here - the air is a little cooler, the fields are dormant, and there are a "few" less bugs to pepper me. Not a long ride, but even the short ones are a pleasure!
