I thought the job of re-lacing the wheels wouldn’t present much of a problem, how wrong could I have been…
stripping down and cleaning isn’t an issue, however in their infinite wisdom MG have used metric spokes when the rest of the world (except BMW) use imperial. So there the problem… getting a supplier of metric replacement. Now the nipples and O-ring part isn’t a problem, as I have that sorted, it’s just finding someone who supplies metric spokes without having to pay the stupid price for originals. One solution maybe to convert them to imperial, ditch the O-ring type nipple and run tyres with tubes…..
