I came across this picture and liked what they did to the rear axle. Does anyone know how we can make this happen? Looks like the axle has been extended and machined built-in spools ?

My guess is that they simply drilled and tapped to allow thread-on spools (which may have been custom made). Is the axle hollow on the other side? I can't recall.

The stock axle on my V7R is solid not hollow. The right side could be drilled and tapped with no issue. The left side has a hex socket so drilling and tapping would potentially damage that. My V50 axle is also solid and the left side is slotted so drilling and tapping would not be an issue while still having the ability to use large screwdriver after unbolting the spool.

I also have F/R Breva 750 axles on the way will have to have a look at them and see if there is potetial to install spools on them.

In the mean time the use of a Baxley sport chock and a scissor jack work for me and give me the ability to get the front or rear tire off the ground for whatever reason that may be needed.

How would you remove the rear wheel with that set up?
It does not look like you could.

Not at all. Only for tyre heater use.
