Hi all, I'm wanting to remove the luggage rack that came with my bike. I'm not sure if it was standard or aftermarket (V7 750 mk1 Stone), but when I tried to remove it, I didn't realise that the bolt holding it on, was the same one also holding the suspension on. Of course the bolt is too long to just re-use once the rack is taken off, so I'm wondering if anyone knows what I need to replace it with? A shorter bolt but maybe is there a washer required too? I've attached a photo so you can see where it's mounted (ignore the screw stuck in my tyre...) Thanks!

Just google the year and the model of the bike + parts list (example: 2010 moto guzzi v7 parts list) and you should be able to find the parts diagram.
It looks like the bolt you need is genuine Guzzi part number 2B002195, which fits V7 from 2008 ~ 2020. I am sure you can probably find one that will work at the local hardware store. According to the parts list, the bolt goes on the frame and depends on the year of your bike, you may need the washer Todd at GTM posted below (edited).

Yes, M6 x 16 x 1.0mm - the stock bike has a cast tapered washer per below (part # 898164).
