I’m just back from a 1400 miles (2200km) road trip to south of Norway.
It started with 400 miles of mostly pouring rain ️️️
Especially the boots didn’t cope with it and transformed into aquariums lol
I took measures and coped the rest of trip though.
The inland mountain parts were trollish and magnificent, very beautiful.
And one day we drove high up on a small mountain road leading eventually to a small village (Lysebotn) in a deep fiord.
However this day we were finally blessed from heavy rains and instead got a mostly clear and decently sunny day with a marvelous and magical 100 miles ride!
The mountain walls in the fiord are about 600-800 meter high (about 2000 feet I believe).
Very impressive, and the serpentine road with a final deep tunnel was splendid.
This is just a copied picture, which a normal tourist won’t be able to shoot, although a great view!:
