Can the rubber handlebar mounts from the 'new version' Stelvio be retro-fitted to my '09? Or, is it such a complete re-design that it can't be done?

I did not know the 2nd generation Stelvio's had rubber mounted handlebars! Got any pictures?

I'm sure it can be done, just costs $$$, but is it worth it? The risers have the same PNs but the triple clamps have different PNs. I suspect the rubber is in the triple clamps.

The old Quota has rubber mounts butI can't tell if they makes any difference.

...no photos... quoting from a written review on new Stelvio fron one of the mags...could they have it wrong?...I "m not bothered by the vibe except to the degree that the mirrors could be clearer...

My 09 Stelvio has no vibration in bars or mirrors! Maybe your bike is not tuned properly?

My 2011 bars are not rubber mounted they appear to be the same as the earlier models. No vibrations just a big heart beat!!
