Hello All: Haven't been on for a while but I thought you might be interested in this. Last night at my dealer sewing up finance details on my Stelvio, he mentioned to me he was going to carry out a bulletin on my bike before delivery. They are going to check for a particular batch of camshafts that may have porosity issues in the castings. The suspect cams have been known to break down in service and shed metal. Could explain the european top end problems. None of the bikes over here are suspect based on VIN no. But these guys are checking anyway to be 100% sure. *I like a dealer that pays that much attention to detail. A rarity I'm sorry to say. Anyway I thought I would pass this along in case you guys out here were unaware of this. Could save someone some greif. Cheers.
