have trawled through all the threads on here but unable to find answer to my dilemma, I have noticed since collecting the bike that it leans a fair bit on the side stand and its not normally a major problem however after my near embarrassing moment the other day I think I need to sort it out.
having parked the bike up on the side stand at my usual café stop I was unable to get it back up due to a slight adverse camber where I had parked, I eventually managed to get it upright with a great deal of effort on my own.
I have read somewhere about a modification to the side stand to make it lean a bit more and wondered if mine has been modded and if so is it a reversible mod?
Any help appreciated before I give myself a hernia lol

Did you check to verify that the bolts are tight. If the bracket loosens up, it will lean farther. A more common issue on the Breva and Norge.
Also, it would appear that the US gets a different sidestand. Mine is too upright. I often park to refuel and worry that it is going to tip to the right, because it is so straight up.

My sidestand let the bike lean over too far for my tastes as standard and all the Stelvios I've looked at( in the UK) seemed the same. I bought a second hand stand, machined a 2.5 inch extension and cut/welded it into the stand, bike now leans at a sensible angle and the modified stand doesn't foul anything when up.

I now have a spare, standard sidestand which you're welcome to if you want to try this yourself.

P-T I will have a good luck at it when I get a chance and let you know, do you have ant pictures of the modded stand?

Sorry don't have a picture at the moment and the garage is a bit full to get into this morning :)
