Hi
my v100 smells strongly of gasoline, especially with a full tank. The smell comes mainly from under the rider's seat, but there is no visible leak. My dealer found nothing when checking the tank.have you ever experienced this problem.
THANKS

It doesn't help you much, but no, I've never noticed any issue with my V100S.

My V7 Cafe had a strong gas odor a month or so ago and I traced the problem to a disconnected vent hose. Somehow the hose had separated from the hose barb on the gas tank. I simply shoved the hose back on and all smells "normal" now.

I'm not familiar with your particular bike, but I would start my troubleshooting efforts by checking the vent hose connection/s.

Just a thought, though I could be wrong. There are two (2) overflow tubes from the gas tank that run under the bike. Can be seen under by the horn. The V100 has a small overflow hole at the top of the filler area on the left side. This becomes a run area for the fuel due to the bike leaning left at fill. If you fill to the top or more, fuel goes into this hole and also gathers at the filler neck. I have also noticed this issue. Try nor to fill too much. I found that here in Calif, with the cal-epa compliant fuel pumps its easy to splash the fuel while filling.
