So I ordered the Guzzi rear rack and top box. My wife won’t ride with me unless she has a back rest. The rack came in. It is large. It doesn’t look to bad and it is well made. It will add some weight though. Also, SW Moto has tank bags available. The one I ordered is the micro. The perfect size for what I wanted. The bag is a tank lock style. It is also expandable. The have bigger ones if that is your preference.

Very nice. Do you have a pic with the interplanetary escape pod (top box) mounted on the rack?
My wife won't ride with me period. For that I am truly grateful. I removed the top box and rack 5 years ago when I bought my Norge. I put it on once for a trip and wished I hadn't. Ugly and a real PITA. It made mounting and dismounting difficult and caused instability at high speed.

I will rarely use the top box. Mostly I’ll have a small burrito bag on the back. The rack while big will serve its purpose. I will get the saddle bags as well and they will rarely get used. This will be my travel bike option. I do have my dads old Oldwing but it’s gargantuan so I ride it enough to exercise it and no more. I have a speed twin with many mods for lighter days. My bike has to have some utility.

I liked the Guzzi rear rack but thought the price was a bit too steep for what it is. It does suit the bike well though. I've never had to buy a rack on my previous bikes so its a hard pill to swallow.

Yep it was expensive, I see why. I did not like spending it either. Being a Guzzi and depending on how popular the bike becomes this may be the only option for awhile.
