I had purchased similar to these earlier but unfortunately at the last 'service' the mechanic didn't tighten them down and one was lost. No longer available from DPM (they were extortionately priced anyway). Luckily a local-ish machine shop agreed to make me some. Initial finish was a bit dull but some cutting compound and a dremel with a polishing mop soon sorted that. Stainless bolts from my local supplier for £1.20 for 8 finished the job.

Guys, appreciate the chance at offering parts to those using the site. As Meldrew says, the price on them new from Guzzi/DPM was silly. I am working on a CNC lathe, so projects like this will be easier later this year.

If the bolts (m6x20) and holes in the cylinder head covers are the same size as the 1400's then they should fit.

I can see in the engine workshop manual that they are indeed M6, but no length is given. From what I can find online they "should" be M6x20. They are the same according to Stein Dinse. PM me with the cost and let's make this happen.

Guys, I'll again say, please allow me to quote you via email. This is my site for commercial interests, and giving away free business makes no sense. That said, I do have those I made below as another option. I've invested huge to make them available, and have a ton left.

Folks, just to clarify, I do not make or sell these items. A local-ish machine shop that specialises in cnc products was good enough to make me some replacements after my 'servicing' dealer failed to tighten mine down and one was lost. Took me almost 12 months to find somebody prepared to produce them. Having purchased Todd's products I would always recommend you try and purchase from his shop in the first instance if he produces what you require as his stuff is top quality.

Sorry about that. I forgot that you made these.

Help me out guys, trying to understand why this is so difficult. The kit at the top of the page was originally marketed by Guzzi for an astronomical cost. They are NLA unless you find a new/used set online somewhere. Meldrew had ONE made for one that was lost. The cost posted above is for the bolt only, not the cost of the aluminum cosmetic "washer." If it keeps going, I'll delete this thread.
Please see my links above on what is offered here.

Thanks for clarifying that Todd, hopefully all is now clear. It was the Aluminium cosmetic washer ONLY that had to be sourced.
(I searched the worldwide Web and virtually every guzzi accessory shop for a replecement to no avail).Hopefully with your new cnc lathe you will be able to produce these if cost effective. The £1.20 for 8 referred to a standard m6x20 stainless bolt which can be purchased cheaply from most hardware shops.
