I had saved a pic from the older forum about this subject.
I might as well post it again here and ask if anyone has been aware of this kind of part made specifically for the STELVIO which means, one could put it on without any modifications; If my memory is correct this one is a standard Norge-Griso part...

It's made by Skidmarx, comes in carbon fiber and fiberglass. Carbon fiber one is a bit pricey.

Here you can see the CFK-Version, mad by Sidmark:

Went to the Skidmark website and they list two rear huggers for Guzzis

Moto Guzzi
- Breva/Griso £79.95 £129.95
- Norge/1200 Sport £79.95 £129.95

So which one can be put on the Stelvio?

Breva Griso or Norge/1200?

You might want to order from a dealer if you are outside the UK. They weren't able to send me the 8 huggers I wanted to order across the channel.

The pic at the start of the thread is mine- the dealer said the hugger was made for a 1200 Sport / Griso. Fitted no problems with Mistral pipe. May be a close fit if you decide to keep the monstrous standard pipe.

It does hug the rear wheel quite closely so if you ride on a gravelly road you will get little stones jammed up inside it, causing scratches and dents.

I just had to repair one of these for a friends Norge.

He already had it off of the bikes, but I believe it was this area where the single bolt goes through. The bolt hole was solid, but it was breaking up in the 'corner', where the front and side meet.

I have the same hugger on mine, it is a bit flimsy, the carbon fibre option would be the better bet, mind you I like the look of the shock sock.
